Sur La Table is seeking a Chef Instructor, Pastry to be the in-store expert for baking and pastry arts. You will deliver hands‑on pastry classes, share specialized techniques, and support sales of bakeware and decorating tools.

You’ll work to inspire customers and drive enrollment while maintaining high culinary standards. The role emphasizes teaching, customer engagement, and brand representation, with ongoing product knowledge and class revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment.
• Degree in culinary arts preferred; extensive culinary experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification required.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-store pastry classes reflecting the company’s passion for food and teaching.
