Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older at time of employment.
• Culinary arts degree preferred; extensive experience may substitute.
• 1–2 years kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by delivering memorable pastry experiences.
• Lead hands‑on pastry classes and promote bakeware and decorating tools.
• Explain advanced pastry concepts in a clear, friendly manner.
• Assist with class setup, mise en place, and cleanup to maintain readiness.
• Maintain food safety and uphold store standards and SOPs.
