The salary range for this role is: $17.00-$19.00 per hour.

Tips: an average of +$2-$3 per hour.

Full-time: 32-40 hours a week. Weekend availability is a must.

The pastry baker assists in culinary operations by managing and producing all baked goods alongside other culinary team members.

• Manage production and prepare a wide variety of baked goods according to recipes.
• Mix, bake, build, decorate, and inscribe products efficiently.
• Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to food safety standards.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment.

Qualifications

• One year of culinary experience; pastry/baking experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in cross-functional roles (front-of-house & back-of-house).
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, reaching overhead.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to taste products for quality assurance.

Education

• Culinary degree preferred.
