Job summary

Legends Global in Tucson, AZ is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to craft pastries, breads and desserts from scratch, following recipes and yield guides for consistent results.

You will maintain a clean production area, prep customer orders, minimize waste, and work with the Executive Chef to manage inventory while complying with Health Department standards; flexibility for days, nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Culinary training or apprenticeship preferred.
• 1–3 years of kitchen/mixing experience.
• Demonstrates pastry skills and operations.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Food Handler’s Card required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries, breads and desserts from scratch following recipes and yield guides for consistent results.
• Keep production and storage areas clean and orderly, including walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Prepare customer orders and ensure timely completion to customer satisfaction.
• Minimize waste and maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department.
• Assist Executive Chef with inventory and supplies requisition.
• Adhere to state sanitation/health regulations and TCC requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment use and safety; use equipment as intended.
