Bauer Consulting Group, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Head Pastry Chef to lead our bakery operations. You will manage overnight production, train Bakers, and build scalable systems that ensure product quality and food safety.

The role requires expertise in artisan bread and high-volume baking, with strong focus on labor efficiency, inventory control, and regulatory compliance across AIB/SQF/BRC/FDA/HACCP and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Food Science preferred; AIB Training is a plus.
• Experience with high-volume baking operations; artisan bread baking required.
• Ability to manage overnight bakery production and train a team of Bakers.
• Plan production schedules to meet forecasted demand while ensuring food safety.
• Maintain labor efficiency and production output targets; oversee inventory and cost controls.
• Knowledge of AIB, SQF, BRC, FDA, HACCP and GMP for regulatory compliance.
