Job summary

DivaDance Columbus is seeking a Party & Group Sales Specialist to drive private party and group event bookings. This role is 100% commission-based and focused solely on booking parties and experiences, not regular class sales.

You will identify opportunities, initiate conversations, follow up, and convert leads into booked events. Ideal candidates are confident communicators who enjoy outbound outreach, and who can build relationships with planners, venues, and potential referral partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or business development preferred.
• Experience with event planning or hospitality helpful.
• Able to work remotely and manage your own leads.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and follow up with incoming party and group leads.

Are you outgoing, confident, and naturally good at getting people excited? Do you love connecting with businesses, event planners, and people planning celebrations?

DivaDance Columbus is looking for a Party & Group Sales Specialist to help us grow our private party and group event business!

This role is 100% focused on booking parties and group experiences no regular class sales. Your job is to find the right opportunities, start conversations, follow up, and turn leads into booked events.

What You'll Be Booking

You’ll help bring DivaDance experiences to:

• Bachelorette & Bachelor Parties
• Birthday & Celebration Parties
• Corporate Team-Building Events
• Girls' Trips & Group Getaways
• Kids & Teens Birthday Parties
• Private group dance experiences
• Business and community events

What You'll Do

• Respond to and follow up with incoming party and group leads
• Reach out to wedding planners, bridal businesses, venues, event professionals, and wedding-related companies
• Prospect local businesses and organizations for corporate team-building opportunities
• Build relationships with potential referral partners
• Follow up consistently with interested groups
• Answer questions and help potential clients choose the right experience
• Coordinate with the DivaDance team to get events officially booked
• Keep track of leads, follow-ups, and opportunities
• Consistently look for new ways to generate party and group bookings

How You'll Get Paid

100% commission-based.

You earn a commission for the parties and group events you book, meaning the more you sell, the more you can earn.
