Job summary

DivaDance is seeking a confident, persuasive Membership Sales & Client Experience team member to engage class attendees, learn their goals, and recommend membership options. You’ll onboard new members, help them maximize their benefits, and share content on social media during classes.

Work 1–2 evenings per week, at our Fort Mill location, with potential shifts to Pineville or Charlotte locations. Compensation is $18/hour plus free dance classes; prior sales/customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Persuasive and confident in selling memberships and delivering a positive member experience.
• Experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with class attendees and explain membership options clearly.

• Engage with clients during classes to discuss goals and present membership options.
• Onboard new members and help them maximize their membership benefits.
• Post to DivaDance social media accounts during classes while observing the class experience.

THE GIG:

We're looking for a confident, persuasive individual who is ready to CHANGE LIVES through sales of our inclusive, fun, stress-free dance class membership! You'll be connecting with our clients at our classes to hear about their experience, learn more about their reasons for coming and why DivaDance could help them reach their goals, and then present ways our membership options may fit them best! You'll also be onboarding new members and making sure they are maximizing their membership, as well as posting to our social media accounts during our classes while observing the class experience! The perfect person in this role thrives on forming meaningful rapport with everyone you meet! You're fun, values-driven, obsessed with excellence AND you want to make a difference in people's lives. Most importantly, you are persuasive, articulate, and confident. We provide all onboarding details, but prefer someone with customer service and/or sales experience.

HOURS, COMPENSATION, LOCATION:

We are looking for you to host 1-2 classes per week - mostly in the evenings and possibly on weekends or lunch time (availability permitting). DivaDance brings our classes into existing facilities - we do not have our own physical location.

You can expect to work at our Fort Mill location at ONE Dance Initiative at the intersection of 460 and 160. If availability and locations are accessible for you, there is potential to work at our Pineville studio location or 2 Charlotte locations as well.

Our Charlotte locations are near Uptown at Open Door Studios and off 77 and S Tryon at NC Dance District.

Our two South Charlotte locations are in Downtown Pineville at Moxie Fitness Studio and in Fort Mill at ONE Dance Initiative at the intersection of 460 and 160.

Compensation is $18 per hour + free dance classes! Commissions are paid out based on membership type or package sold. The more you sell, the more you make.
