Federal Signal Corporation (FS Solutions) is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support inbound/outbound logistics and customer service. You will enter orders, track status, manage invoices, and assist customers and vendors in person or by phone.

The role involves picking, packing, shipping parts, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with carriers. Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Answer inbound calls courteously and promptly.
• Maintain customer and vendor relationships through consistent service.
• Assist customers and vendors in person or by phone to prevent escalations.
• Enter and track orders, check status, and manage invoices.
• Communicate sales, promotions, and new products to customers.
• Receive, pick, pack, and ship parts and items as required.
• Move and store materials and document inventory movements.
• Maintain inventory levels using appropriate software.
• Notify Location Manager of shortages or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with freight carriers and report shipments.
• Perform cycle counts and other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner.
• Create and/or maintain customer and vendor relationships through consistent customer service, communication and follow through.
• Assist customers and vendors both in person and by phone with the primary focus being to address the requirements to prevent unnecessary escalation.
• Work with customers both by phone and in person to enter orders, check status of orders, create copies of invoices and manage special requests.
• Communicate sales, promotions and new products when directly assisting customers.
• Pick, pack and ship parts and other items as required.
• Move material to appropriate areas throughout the facility and document in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain applicable inventory levels by using the appropriate software or systems.
• Notify Location Manager of inventory shortages or discrepancies.
• Monitor shipping supplies and notify Location Manager when supplies are low or inaccurate.
• Interact with freight carriers and notify carriers of shipments, shipment weights and dimensions.
• Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments while inspecting for damages, shortages and reporting any findings to carrier and/or Location Manager.
• Perform cycle counts in accordance with established procedures
• Other duties as required and assigned
