Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Parts Manager to direct and coordinate the activities of the parts department within the branch, integrate with store management, and oversee the efficient, profitable operation.

Responsibilities include assigning daily tasks, monitoring inventory, and assisting customers and technicians. The role requires at least 3 years leading a parts or service department, strong leadership, math and communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel;

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience leading a parts or service department.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Good communication, math, customer service and sales skills.
• Proficient in data entry and computer use (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of inventory control functions; forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the activities of the parts department.
• Oversees branch store operations as part of the management team.
• Assigns daily tasks and prepares staff schedules.
• Monitors inventory levels and adjusts stocking as demand changes.
• Reviews pricing and availability of parts and assists customers/technicians.
• Supervises staff, including training, performance evaluation, and communication of company information.
