Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Parts Assistant to support shop mechanics and customers by providing needed parts from inventory and processing orders. The role involves assisting branches, stocking parts, and ensuring order accuracy, while maintaining safety standards and a fast-paced workflow.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, knowledge of construction equipment, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of equipment and parts used in construction is useful.
• Parts department experience desirable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer operations.
• Detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Supplies shop mechanics with needed service and repair parts from inventory.
• Handles walk-in and telephone customer requests for parts.
• Assists other branches in finding parts via Case and Smart Equip program.
• Stocks parts and keeps department in good order.
• Completes and processes purchase orders to order parts for the group and/or customers.
• Operates in a fast-paced environment.
