Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Hayward, CA is seeking a Customer Service Parts Coordinator to oversee parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, and inventory at a single location. You will process POs, vendor payments, and ensure accurate inventory to maximize uptime.

There is room to grow into an Ops Supervisor role based on performance. Experience with automotive or heavy-duty truck parts is a plus. The shift is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, onsite at the Hayward shop, with weekly pay and full benefits

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary designee for conducting physical inventory, parts ordering, and receiving.
• Processing of Purchase Orders and Supplier invoices.
• Ensure parts are properly recorded into inventory.
• Oversee parts obsolescence.
• Shipping warranty and parts returns to vendors.
• Parts room organization and cleanliness.
• Contribute to cost containment through oversight of parts processes and policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
