Shelby County is seeking a part and inventory clerk to maintain parts, gas, and lubricants inventory for county equipment and vehicles. You will order, receive, and dispense parts and ensure accurate inventory records and reports.

Work involves using Cityworks for stock movement, billing parts to work orders, and maintaining stocking levels. Strong data entry and purchasing experience are required; familiarity with Munis is a plus.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Purchasing experience involving the purchase of parts and supplies.
• At least one year data entry and computer experience.
• Experience purchasing items using bids, State Government contracts or buying groups.
• Experience using Tyler (Munis) accounting software.
• At least two years’ experience with parts inventory control in the automotive and heavy equipment-gasoline and diesel engines areas.
