City of Phenix City Parks & Recreation is seeking a Full-time Maintenance Shop Clerk to support the maintenance team. This role involves ordering parts, managing inventory, issuing supplies and fuel, and assisting with equipment repairs under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent.

Responsibilities include keeping stock records, ensuring security of tools and vehicles, and performing extra tasks as directed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work with a team in a busy shop environment.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Order parts and supplies for repair and maintenance of equipment, vehicles and buildings.
• Create or maintain an inventory system and stock records.
• Issue shop supplies, equipment and fuel and ensure their return.
• Secure keys and equipment at end of day and report missing items.
• Assist with maintenance of lawn and shrubbery around the shop area.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent.
