Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to professional customers, manage returns, stock shelves and maintain a clean store environment. You will engage with customers, upsell products, and support credit account collection while representing the store and loyalty programs.

The role requires safe driving, basic math, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. Automotive parts knowledge is a plus and any related experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Perform basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Confidently engage customers and promote products.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and provide CPP with insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
