Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to collect daily accounts while building lasting relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.

You will assist in upselling and cross-selling products to raise average transaction value, maintain store cleanliness and stock, and provide friendly service to walk-in customers with knowledge of inventory and new arrivals.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
• English language proficiency; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to use basic math for transactions and inventory checks.
• Willingness to learn about products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores; drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers and promote sales/loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts; build relationships with customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock inventory; participate in cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
