Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver who will pick, stage and safely deliver parts to professional customers, stock shelves, and support promotional programs. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and assist in upselling to increase average transaction value.

A valid driver’s license and ability to work varied shifts are required. Responsibilities include daily collection of credit accounts, maintaining store cleanliness, and using inventory systems to track

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately and work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
