Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and deliver parts to pro customers and to collect daily credit accounts. You will build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

The role requires safe driving, basic math, and the ability to upsell and cross-sell products. Responsibilities include maintaining clean stores, stocking, inventory knowledge, and serving walk-in customers with solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math to perform calculations in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
