Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, collect returns, and promote ongoing sales and loyalty programs. You will build relationships with main pro accounts and support upselling opportunities while maintaining store cleanliness and inventory knowledge.

This role requires safe driving, basic math, and strong communication skills, with flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Driver must have a valid driver's license and clean record.
• English required; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Basic math to handle quantities and pricing.
• Willing to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Other duties as assigned.
