Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns and cores, and collect daily credit accounts.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and upsell where appropriate, while keeping the store clean, stocking parts, and assisting walk-in customers. This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and driving accuracy.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to use delivery board system.
• Sales aptitude and customer service orientation.
• Read and interpret safety rules, catalogs and manuals.
• Basic math skills for transactions.
• English language proficiency; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts.
