Job summary

Gateway Industrial Power, Incorporated in Justice, IL seeks a positive, hard-working Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. You will prepare orders, deliver parts to customers, and help maintain a clean, organized parts area.

The role emphasizes reliable, safety-conscious driving, strong communication with customers, and collaboration with the Parts Manager. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with 2+ years’ delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 2+ years' experience as a Parts Delivery Driver or similar position preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders and get parts ready for delivery.
• Deliver parts to customers.
• Load and unload parts inventory shipments.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each delivery.
• Assist customers with questions and provide invoices to customers.
• Observe and report customer information and buying habits.
• Coordinate with the Parts Manager on account management and returns.
• Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and organization of delivery vehicles and parts area.
• Support Shipping and Receiving department as needed.

As a well know Carrier Refrigeration, Volvo, TICO, Hino and Isuzu dealership, we have 16 locations throughout Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin and Tennessee. We are looking for a positive, hard-working individual to join our team at our Justice, IL location.

Job Duties:

• Prepare orders and get parts ready for delivery
• Deliver parts to customers
• Load and unload parts inventory shipments
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each delivery
• Assist customers with any questions they may have
• Provide invoices to customers and collect payment
• Observe and report customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion
• Work with the Parts Manager on account management, including distribution of invoices, cash handling and the processing of returns
• Responsible for maintenance, cleanliness, appearance and the safe operation of company-owned delivery vehicles
• Assist the Shipping and Receiving department in keeping the parts area clean, organized and stocked
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping information
• Other duties as assigned
