Job summary

Wheeler Machinery Co. is seeking a customer-focused Parts Counter Associate in Utah to greet walk-in customers and assist with identifying and ordering parts via phone, counter, and email.

You will use parts lookup systems, manage orders, and advise substitutions when needed, while maintaining positive interactions with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include processing back orders, returns, and logistics questions, along with stocking and organizing the Parts Express area.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with a solutions-oriented attitude.
• Research and identify parts, create and manage orders across channels.
• Advise substitutions when replacements are unavailable.
• Proceed with back-order management, shipping, and logistics inquiries.
• Pull, pack, and release parts orders; maintain storefront stock daily.
• Process 30-day returns and stage customer orders; participate in training.
• Handle daily back-order queue; ensure excellent customer service.
