Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to join our team. You will assist customers, identify parts across CAT and other brands, and use our automated system to locate items.

This role emphasizes strong parts knowledge and service with a view to reflecting our 'One Professional Team' ethos. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year in parts, sales, or customer service, along with a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience handling parts and related processes.
• Administrative/clerical experience 1+ year.
• Customer service experience 1+ year.
• Sales experience 1+ year.

Responsibilities

• Receive phone-in and walk-in customers’ requests for parts.
• Locate parts for customers on various machines, CAT, and other brands we service.
• Find parts using automated system.
• Maintain notes, organized desk for easy access to information.
• Maintain warranty credits/inspections and warranty return processes.
• Pulls orders; process customer and shop order credits and quotes.
• Direct customers to proper service techs when needed.
• Assist the supervisor in projects and on-call duties after hours.
