Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Utah is seeking a friendly Counter Sales Associate to be the face of our retail store, helping customers with auto parts needs in person at the counter or over the phone.

You’ll use your parts knowledge to assist teammates, provide outstanding customer care, and contribute to a fast-paced, upbeat environment. Prior parts-store experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is valued.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Background in a parts store/automotive industry or willingness to learn auto parts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast paced retail environments.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers in person or over the phone.
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions in the store.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced environment.
• Welcome customers and engage to provide a positive consumer experience.
• Operate the technology (computer), cash register, phone, and catalog system.
