Job summary

Acme Tools is hiring a Parts Counter Associate at our Minot, ND location to help customers find the right parts, answer questions, and process orders efficiently. You’ll work with internal and external customers, maintain stocking levels, research pricing and labor estimates, and help ensure a positive experience in the Parts department and store.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding the correct parts quickly and accurately.
• Maintain stocking levels and assist with pricing and labor estimates.
• Identify new parts and categories to improve customer satisfaction.
• Interact with customers to ensure a positive experience in the Parts department and store.
• Assist in cycle counting and stocking in the service area.
• Create service orders and distribute to Technicians.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and report safety issues.

You’ll Take Ownership Of:

• Working with internal & external customers to find the correct parts in a timely & efficient manner
• Maintaining stocking levels & researching parts pricing & labor estimates
• Identifying new parts & part categories that need to be added to increase customer satisfaction levels
• Interacting with customers to ensure a positive experience with the Parts department and store & following up with customers & Technicians to ensure timely repair
• Assisting in cycle counting of the physical inventory & ordering, receiving, pricing & stocking parts in the service area
• Creating service orders & distributing work orders to Service Technicians
• Maintaining a safe & secure work environment by adhering to & striving to improve safety standards & reporting suspicious activity
• Completing related tasks as assigned

You’ll Need To Have:

• Customer service skills
• Computer skills & the ability to learn new software
• Knowledge of tools & equipment

We’d Love If You Have:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Previous parts experience

Physical Requirements Of The Job:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand & walk for the majority of your shift
• Ability to occasionally push, pull, squat, bend, & reach
