Job summary

Acme Tools in Williston, ND is seeking an Assembler to assemble equipment per instructions, troubleshoot, and be a self-starter who is detail-oriented. You will perform maintenance and minor repairs on skid steers, mini excavators, generators, and more; deliver and pick up tools with a truck and trailer; and keep the yard organized and safe.

The role requires a valid driver\'s license, ability to drive pickup/trailer, basic computer skills, reliable attendance, and the physical ability to lift

Qualifications

• Eligible for Interstate CMV Driver with valid license, 21+ years old, clean driving record, and able to obtain a med card.
• Experience driving a pick-up and trailer combo.
• Computer and technology skills related to your job duties.
• Prompt and reliable attendance.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment per manufacturer instructions and troubleshoot with minimal guidance.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment listed in the job description.
• Deliver and pick up tools and equipment using a truck and trailer.
• Move and organize equipment around the yard.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, and in person.
• Instruct customers on tool safety, operation, loading, and unloading.
• Clear the yard and parking lots of debris, including snow/ice in winter.
• Create and close service work orders on the computer.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report safety concerns.
• Complete related tasks as assigned.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Equipment assembly per manufacturer instructions, including the ability to comprehend, troubleshoot, and assemble with minimal instructions while being a self-starter who is detail-oriented
• Maintenance and minor repairs (changing fluids and hydraulic lines and replacing filters, ignitions, starters, and alternators on skid steers, mini excavators, light towers, generators, boom lifts, and forklifts)
• Delivering and picking up tools and equipment for customers with a pick-up truck and trailer combo
• Moving and organizing equipment around the yard
• Communicating professionally and troubleshooting equipment issues with customers via phone, email, and in-person
• Instructing customers on tool and equipment safety, operation, loading, and unloading
• Clearing the yard and parking lots of debris, including snow and ice removal in the winter
• Creating and closing service work orders on the computer
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
• Completing related tasks as assigned

You'll Need:

• To be eligible to be an Interstate CMV Driver (valid Driver's License, 21+ years old, clean driving record, and able to obtain a med card)
• Experience driving a pick-up and trailer combo
• Computer and technology skills related to your job duties
• Prompt and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements:
