Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to ensure an exceptional customer experience by managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. The coordinator verifies parts accuracy and quality in a timely manner to align with production schedules and vehicle needs.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus)
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class)
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational ability to manage pressure and priorities
• Knowledge of Management Information Systems used in parts, e.g., Summit, Repair Centre
• Working knowledge of estimation systems: Mitchell, Audatex
• Sourcing parts from Car-part, Progi, APU, LKQ B2B

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure WOW—Wow Operating Way—execution.
• Communicate customer requests to the team.
• Order and receive parts from vendors per repair orders, ensuring quality and quantity.
• Distribute parts to the shop per production schedule.
• Enter parts invoices into the MIS and track pricing changes.
• Label and track parts by RO number and store with vehicles/repairs.
• Reconcile vendor invoices and manage discount terms.
