Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to provide an outstanding customer experience by efficiently ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning parts for each repair order. You will verify the accuracy of parts, collaborate with vendors, and ensure parts are available to meet the shop's production schedule.

Key responsibilities include MIS invoicing, parts tracking by RO#, and maintaining proper discounts with vendors to protect margins.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus).
• Customer service oriented and strong organizational ability under pressure.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior customer experience while managing parts flow for each repair order.
• Verify accuracy and timeliness of parts received in line with the production schedule.
• Coordinate with vendors to order and receive parts with correct quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop per schedule.
• Enter parts invoices into the MIS and reconcile vendor invoices.
• Label and track parts by RO number; communicate price changes to team.
• Monitor parts performance and assist with MIS supplemental orders.
• Maintain documentation for invoices and credit memos.
