Job summary

Valley Partners, Inc. is seeking a Parts Advisor to assist technicians and customers in purchasing needed parts for vehicle repairs. You will help ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction, working in a people-focused role with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, informing about part requirements, pulling stock, handling quotes, and maintaining inventory while upholding dealership standards and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Maintain a valid Georgia driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Submit to a background and drug screening.
• Previous experience working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information as requested.
• Pull and fills orders from stock.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Notify the service advisor and/or the customer when ordered parts have been received.
• Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Ensure that all external charge sales are signed by the customer and all customers receive a copy of the invoice.
• Issue credit for any parts returned and ensure the original invoice is available to verify purchase and pricing.
• Replenish assigned inventory daily.
• Participate with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
• All other duties as assigned.
