Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Yuba City is seeking a Parts Advisor to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will maintain the parts counter, coordinate with Service, order parts, create invoices in ADP, receive and shelve stock, and manage accurate inventory and returns.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of automotive parts knowledge, an acceptable driving record, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge with 2+ years preferred.
• Mathematics skills for inventory, payments and invoices.
• Knowledge of automotive parts with 2+ years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and professional counter, work area and stockroom.
• Interact with Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack and store parts for easy access.
• Check quantity and condition of goods against invoices and PO.
• Specify parts accurately.
• Takes inventory and maintains perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns and warranties as needed.

Hiring: Parts Advisor

• Pay: $4,000-$7,000 Monthly


• Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area and stockroom.


• Interact with Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.


• Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.


• Create accurate invoices in ADP.


• Receive, unpack and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.


• Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders. Check number and unit cost as well as total billing for charges against proper records.


• Specifies parts accurately.


• Takes inventory, maintains records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.


• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization


• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.

What You’ll Bring

• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence

Total Rewards

This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Commission(s) off Department Gross, Individual Gross and Bonuses based on Parts Gross Achievement, Manufacturer Approvability.

The average pay range for this position is $4,000-$7,000 monthly.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
