Lithia & Driveway is hiring a full-time Parts Advisor at Buick GMC of Beaverton. The role handles customer inquiries, orders parts, coordinates with the service team and processes invoices. Strong communication and math skills are essential, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Reliable communication with customers by phone, email or in person.
• Strong numerical skills for inventory, payments and invoices.
• Experience in an automotive parts environment is a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Answer telephone and greet customers professionally according to ITC standards.
• Communicate with customers and vendors by phone, in person or email.
• Assist customers by answering questions, checking stock, and taking parts orders.
• Maintain clean and organized counter, work area and stockroom.
• Coordinate parts with Service Team for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers per service and customer requests.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack and store parts for availability.
• Check quantities and costs against invoices and purchase orders.
• Take inventory and maintain perpetual inventory records.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, warranties and parts returns.

Now Hiring - Full-Time Parts Advisor!

• Pay: $55,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm (flexible)

What You’ll Do

• Answer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards.
• Communicate with customers and vendors by phone, in-person or email.
• Assist customers by answering questions, checking stock availability, and taking parts orders.
• Maintain clean and organized appearance of counter, work area and stockroom.
• Work with Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed.
• Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders. Check number and unit cost and total billing for charges against proper records.
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received and keep perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous parts advisor experience, a bonus
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus
• Any automotive certifications are a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent communication
• Mathematics - calculations of inventory, payments and invoices.
• Knowledge of automotive parts
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence
