Job summary

Qumis is hiring its first Director of Partnerships to build a go-to-market partnerships function in the insurance AI space. You will define strategy, identify and close strategic partnerships, and scale enablement and co-selling as the company moves from seed to Series A and beyond.

You will own negotiation of strategic partnerships and work closely with the Head of Sales and founders to drive distribution, product innovation, and market expansion. Deep insurance ecosystem knowledge is ideal.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in P&C insurance with deep ecosystem knowledge or enterprise SaaS partnerships with $1M+ partner-sourced revenue responsibility.
• Proven track record building partnerships from scratch or scaling to 10+ partners.
• Strong negotiation skills with complex revenue share, GTM arrangements, and co-selling.
• Relationship builder with C-suite experience and ability to articulate ROI and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Build the partnerships function from scratch with strategy, framework, and processes for evaluating and closing opportunities.
• Own partner-sourced revenue targets and aim for 20–30% of new ARR from partnerships within 12 months.
• Close 5–10 strategic partnerships across distribution channels, tech integrations, and industry orgs.
• Negotiate complex partnership agreements including revenue share models and co-selling motions.
• Create partner enablement materials, training, collateral, demos, and certifications.
• Manage partner relationships with quarterly business reviews and joint planning.
• Drive co-marketing with partners through webinars, case studies, and events.
