Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Partner Success Manager in Maryland to serve as the primary contact for our partner community and drive production excellence. You will manage project status communications, escalate risks, and help prioritize work to meet schedules.

You will act as a technical SME, collaborate with Operations and PD&T, ensure compliance with ISO 9001, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. Remote work is not required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain and/or customer service, preferably in manufacturing operations.
  • Proven track record of meeting schedule commitments by managing customer expectations.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, timelines, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to implement solutions keeping production underway.
  • Self-starter with a take-charge attitude and ability to independently drive project completion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Proficiency in ERP tools and communication software.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Preferred: Experience with Xometry's digital marketplace.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Sheets).
  • Preferred: Manufacturing environment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner community, communicating project status and risks.
  • Orchestrate production by prioritizing work and mitigating delays.
  • Conduct weekly portfolio reviews and document progress.
  • Escalate significant risks to maintain results.
  • Act as a technical SME for Partner Success Team to resolve blockers.
  • Identify and resolve issues, manage RMA projects and non-conformance reclamations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and PD&T.
  • Ensure adherence to quality management systems and safety policies.
  • Provide peer and broader team support during peak periods.

Job description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the partner community, building trust-based relationships through proactive and transparent communication regarding project status and potential roadblocks
  • Orchestrate the production process by maintaining communication queue awareness to ensure work is effectively prioritized and delays are mitigated
  • Conduct weekly portfolio reviews, document progress, and manage risk-based outreach to evaluate partner fitness and production plans for high-risk jobs
  • Escalate significant risks as necessary to maintain organizational results
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for the Partner Success Team, driving operational excellence and resolving production blockers through knowledge of manufacturing technologies
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, including management of RMA projects and negotiation of financial reclamations resulting from non-conformance or late deliveries
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and PD&T teams
  • Ensure adherence to quality management systems and safety policies
  • Provide peer and broader team support during peak periods
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain and/or customer service, preferably in manufacturing operations
