Responsibilities
- Lead daily supply chain and logistics operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of supplies, raw materials, and finished goods
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, vendor and supplier relationships, inventory flow, and team performance
- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with environmental policies, standards, state regulations, and laws
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
- Read and comprehend contracts and import/export agreements
- Diagram and value-stream-map supply chain models to facilitate discussions with customers, dispensaries, and suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance against quality and delivery requirements
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes
- Design or implement supply chains supporting environmental policies
- Document physical supply chain processes, including workflows, cycle times, takt times, position responsibilities, and system flows
- Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand and create supply plans ensuring material or product availability
- Develop procedures coordinating supply chain management with sales, marketing, finance, production, and quality assurance
- Conduct or oversee life cycle analyses of environmental impacts
- Design, implement, or oversee product take-back and reverse-logistics programs
- Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials, minimize waste, or convert waste to by-products
- Report to the Regional Distribution Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5+ Years’ experience as Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation or Warehouse manager
- Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items
- Understanding of principals of accounting or finance
- Must be able to comprehend legal documents
- Strong communication skills
- Exhibit an extreme ownership mentality over responsibilities and department
- 2+ years of experience with ERP (SAP is a must)
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is a must) and material management systems
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods and perform climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand and finger movements
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for computer work and visual inspection
- Must be able to communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors

Demonstrates expertise in supply chain management, logistics operations, and vendor relationships, with a strong focus on process improvement and compliance with environmental policies. Proficient in ERP systems, particularly SAP, and skilled in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
