Job summary

Yahoo Mail is building Data Products and seeking a Partner Success Engineer to own end-to-end partner integrations. You will ensure API contracts are met, SLAs honored, and partners maximize value from Yahoo's data platform.

As a DRI, you will collaborate with engineering, data, and partnerships to drive enterprise integrations, monitor performance, and maintain documentation while operating with startup-level autonomy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with a focus on partner integrations.
• Deep expertise with REST/gRPC APIs, HTTP, OAuth 2.0, API keys and data contracts.
• Experience partnering with enterprise customers as the primary technical contact.
• Strong background in distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Proven ability to debug complex integrations and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end partner success from onboarding to production optimization.
• Maintain API reliability, latency, uptime, and SLA compliance.
• Establish proactive monitoring, logging, and automated alerting for data product health.
• Translate partner requirements into actionable technical specifications and roadmap items.
• Partner with core engineering to harden APIs, optimize streaming pipelines, and refine data contracts.
• Maintain developer documentation, integration playbooks, architecture diagrams, and escalation paths.
