Job summary

Cisco Systems seeks a Partner Solutions Engineering Leader to helm a team of PSEs serving the Americas, acting as the main technical liaison between Cisco, Splunk, and our partner ecosystem to mature partner practices and accelerate revenue.

You will craft enablement roadmaps, reference architectures, and joint-solution playbooks with partners, aligning with Cisco Data Fabric, AI, and security strategies. Strong leadership and 5+ years in partner-facing engineering are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical knowledge in Security and Observability.
• 5+ years in Network Management.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading technical pre-sales or partner-facing engineering teams.
• Partner Ecosystem Experience: Experience leading Partner Solutions Engineering teams within the software or technology industry.
• Experience in building high-performing teams and developing talent across different career stages.
• Operational acumen, including experience with partner capacity planning, enablement roadmaps, and measuring business impact.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years demonstrated ability; OR Master’s degree + 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Partner Solutions Engineers (PSEs) as the primary technical liaison between Cisco and partners.
• Mature partner technical practices and advance partners through the Cisco Partner 360 program.
• Design enablement roadmaps, reference architectures, and demos aligned with Splunk/Cisco portfolios.
• Collaborate with partner engineering and product teams to co-develop joint solutions.
• Provide technical guidance for partner GTM priorities (Security, Observability, Cloud, Network, AI).
• Drive adoption of Cisco Data Fabric strategy using Data Intelligence and AI.
• Track partner maturity, PVI impact, and pipeline influence through governance.
