Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Leader to build and guide a high-performing Partner Solutions Engineering team on a remote East Coast basis. The role focuses on enabling partners, maturing their technical practices, and driving joint solution development that accelerates pipeline and reduces risk.

The candidate will champion Cisco’s Data Fabric strategy with AI-driven observability, coordinating with partners, product, and engineering to meet GTM priorities across security, cloud, network, and AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years demonstrated ability; OR Master’s degree + 5 years.
• 5+ years of technical knowledge in Security, Observability, Event, or Network Management.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading technical pre-sales or partner-facing engineering teams.
• Experience in building high-performing teams and developing talent across different career stages.
• Operational acumen, including experience with partner capacity planning, enablement roadmaps, and measuring business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Partner Solutions Engineers.
• Drive partner enablement, roadmaps, and joint-solution development.
• Act as technical liaison between Cisco, Splunk, and partner ecosystem.
• Ensure partner staff attain required Splunk Certifications and badges.
• Collaborate with product/engineering on partner-driven requirements and GTM priorities.
