Qualifications

• Experience building with AI, including LLMs, AI agents, or AI-powered tooling.
• Strong communication and executive presence.
• Entrepreneurial problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity and adaptability to evolving tech and business needs.
• 2+ years hands-on software engineering with production code.
• Prior customer-facing or solutions engineering in FinTech/SaaS is preferred.
• Hands-on APIs and tech infra experience; RESTful API integration.
• Ability to bridge engineering with product and executives; tradeoffs clear.
• Willingness to travel for offsites and partner supports; US work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between sales and partners' engineering teams for technical handoff.
• Write production code with partner teams to accelerate integrations and debug issues.
• Architect scalable integration patterns on Check's platform.
• Provide implementation plans and time-to-market estimates.
• Offer feedback to product and engineering based on partner experiences.
• Assist partners with architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Serve as a subject matter expert after integration; own post-sales strategy.
• Maintain relationships with technical stakeholders from engineers to C-suite.
• Provide strategic guidance to drive adoption and growth with partners.
• Advocate for partner needs and influence product development.
• Build partner-facing features and documentation; escalate complex issues.
• Lead AI-powered capability initiatives; prototype and ship high-priority work.
• Evaluate AI frameworks/models and contribute to Check's AI roadmap.
• Help partners use AI to improve payroll and workforce workflows.
