Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate our EdTech business within the World Wide Public Sector.

You will own the technical engagement, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop deep expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront. You will work with a world-class sales and business development team, lead design discussions, and share best-practice knowledge across the AWS solution-architect community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies.
• Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
