Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate our public sector cloud adoption. You will own the technical engagement, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop deep expertise in AWS services and security.

You will collaborate with sales, teams, and customers to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, SageMaker, Bedrock, and CloudFront. Travel up to 30% may be required, and you will mentor others while driving best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs; develop expertise in AWS technologies and security.
• Lead knowledge sharing within the AWS solution architect community and collaborate with sales and engineers.
