Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc is seeking a Part-Time Individual Support Worker to join our team and positively impact the lives of children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will travel to the homes of our clients and collaborate with behavioral therapists to implement effective programs.

The role requires a college degree with one year of experience or a High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of supervised experience in positive behavior support and teaching

Qualifications

College degree with one year of experience supported by one year, or HS diploma/GED with three years supervised experience in IDD behavior support.
Experience implementing positive behavior support plans.
Experience teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with IDD.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized service plans for children and adolescents in home/community settings.
Provide behavioral interventions under supervision and guidance of behavioral therapists.
Monitor and document observations to modify daily activities toward therapeutic goals.
Develop engaging recreational activities to support emotional and social growth while maintaining a safe environment.
