Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader in California to work with an assigned group of students in person. You will lead a classroom of 20-25 students, ensuring safe and engaging activities, and act as a positive adult role model in a nurturing learning environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to communicate in Standard English, Live Scan clearance, and prior group experience. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting.
• Live Scan background check required (fingerprinting).
• Six months experience working with a group of 10+ students in classroom/afterschool/recreation.
• Spanish proficiency preferred for bilingual English learners.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 20-25 students in an in-person setting with high behavior and safety standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model through appropriate dress, speech and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment fostering belonging for students.
• Support students in positive behavior choices and apply disciplinary measures when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, administrators and parents as appropriate.
• Participate in staff development activities.
