Job summary

Think Together in California is seeking a part-time Program Leader to supervise an assigned group of students in an in-person setting, emphasizing safety, respect, and positive behavior.

You will mentor students, implement core agreements, provide homework help and enrichment, and coordinate with site staff and families to support student growth. The role requires a HS diploma, English proficiency, Live Scan, and a history of working with groups of children; Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific - 48 semester/60 quarter units or pass pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan (fingerprinting).
• TB test dated within last 3 years.
• At least six months experience leading groups of 10+ students.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K-8).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bi-literate in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in-person, upholding safety and behavior standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model with appropriate dress, speech, and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment promoting belonging for students.
• Provide homework help, academic enrichment, and activities using provided curriculum.
• Assist with snack, setup, cleanup, and classroom maintenance.
