Job summary

Think Together in California is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader to mentor and supervise students in an in-person setting across districts and school sites. You will lead a group of 20-25 students, enforce safety, and model positive behavior using Think Together core agreements.

The role emphasizes leadership, patience, and strong communication to support student growth, engagement, and academic enrichment after school hours. Prior experience with youth programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for the role.
• District-specific unit requirements or pre-employment testing may apply.
• Ability to communicate clearly in Standard English in a public-school setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 20-25 students in an in-person setting with high behavior and safety standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model through appropriate dress, speech and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for students.
• Support positive behavior choices and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with site leadership and parents.
• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment, and activity supervision.
