Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator for our after-school programs serving youth across Southern California, including Los Angeles and surrounding areas. You will work directly with students, support the Site Coordinator, and collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe, engaging program.

The role focuses on leadership, attendance tracking, and program management while building real-world skills and community impact.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
Ability to communicate with kids and parents effectively.
TB test completed and Live Scan background check cleared.
English-Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist the Site Coordinator as the second point of contact for parents and administrators.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
Enforce rules to promote positive behavior and supervise activities.
Coordinate and lead indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
Attend trainings and staff meetings to stay updated on best practices.
Facilitate sign-up procedures and accurate attendance tracking.
Develop and lead clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
Organize activities including homework help, games, arts, crafts, and projects.
