Job summary

Boy s & Girls Clubs of the North Valley is hiring a Youth Development Professional for after-school programs at Hamilton City Elementary School BGC. The role requires supervision of members, program implementation across core areas, and a safe, engaging environment.

The position is part-time, with a school-year calendar and hours 1:30-6:30 PM on M-TH and 12:30-6:30 PM on Fridays. Prior recreation/child development experience and required certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• Pass TB test.
• FBI/DOJ Live Scan and background check required.
• County Assessment Certification (Proof of 48 college units) or college degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop and implement programs.
• Maintain safety, security and appearance of the Club.
• Maintain paperwork tracking programs and participant data.
• Coordinate spontaneous recreational activities.
• Promote activities via bulletin boards, newsletters and announcements.
• Assist in planning academic enrichment.
• Maintain equipment and facilities; report supplies needed.
• Collaborate with staff/parents to recognize members and address issues.
• Provide direction to volunteers to stimulate participation.
• Deliver quality customer service to visitors and members.
