Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston in Katy, TX is seeking a Youth Development Leader for before/after school and day camp programs. Part-time positions offer a base pay of $13.00 per hour, plus a temporary $3.00 per hour stipend for eligible locations. Earn while shaping the growth and safety of local youth.

The role requires you to create a fun, safe environment, lead engaging activities, and model YMCA values. Applicants should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention training (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities

Keep children safe, engaged, and accounted for at all times.
Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment using positive behavior-management techniques.
Lead YMCA curriculum through games, projects, and hands-on learning.
