Bread for the City is seeking a Part-time Workforce Cafe Coordinator to support the Workforce Development Program in Washington, DC. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to build relationships and network effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming, supportive Workforce Café presence during walk-in hours.
• Provide one-on-one assistance with job searches, resumes, and online applications.
• Help participants identify employment goals and next steps through assessments.
• Connect participants with job openings, training, and other resources.
• Manage and update the Workforce Café Job Board with opportunities.
• Organize employment resources, computers, and materials for the café.
• Assist participants with online trainings and related technology.
• Support planning of development workshops and hiring events.
• Follow up with participants to track progress toward goals.
• Refer participants to other Workforce Development services as needed.
• Maintain participant records and document services accordingly.
