Job summary

Collaborative-Support-Programs (CSPNJ) seeks a part-time Wellness Mentor to support the Wellness Center under the Center Manager. You will help plan and maintain operations, engage with members, and connect people to wellness and recovery resources. A candidate may require a peer certificate within a year.

Responsibilities include collaborating on daily activities, providing referrals, and modeling peer support with trauma-informed care. A valid NJ driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, internet, document management).
• Knowledge of wellness, mental health systems, and community resources.
• Willingness to disclose mental health and/or addiction services and speak about recovery.

Responsibilities

• Support and plan day-to-day Wellness Center operations with the Center Manager and members.
• Identify community needs and connect members to appropriate resources and referrals.
• Provide information and referrals regarding wellness, recovery, peer support, and community services.
• Act as a leader and role model for members, visitors and community participants.
