Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia is seeking an Educational Aide-Web Design to support student computer users in the Computer Science Division. This part-time, non-benefited role reports to the Program Director – Web Design.

Responsibilities include assisting students, documenting activities, providing reports, and maintaining records; require good customer service, communication, troubleshooting, and the ability to lift 15 to 30 lbs. Work hours are flexible per department needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot OS/hardware/software and basic printer issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist student computer users at Gwinnett Technical College.
• Accept direction and follow through with supervisor feedback.
• Provide oral and written reports as required.
• Maintain records/files related to the program's mission.
• Listen to students and provide encouragement and support.
• Demonstrate persistence and seek solutions when obstacles arise.
