Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a part-time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will help customers choose frames, explain tests and services, and maintain records with HIPAA compliance. You’ll process payments, manage contact lens orders, and support doctors and retail teams to meet store goals.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, fashion awareness, and teamwork in a fast-paced optical retail environment. Flexible scheduling and employee discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and eyewear products.
• Strong communicator and listener with good math skills.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills and organizational abilities.
• Experience in customer service, retail or optical is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assist in selecting frames and lenses.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services to customers.
• Review prescriptions accurately and consult as needed with staff.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments securely.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and store appearance.
• Place contact lens orders, process shipments and invoices.
• Explain delivery timelines and promote promotions to customers.
• Provide care guidance and ensure excellent patient experience.
